BREAST LIFT
The breast lift, or mastopexy, is a surgery to uplift and
improve the shape of the female breast. This procedure raises
and firms the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the
surrounding tissue around the new nipple-areola site to reshape
and support the new breast contour. The nipple-areola site will
be determined by measurements unique to each individual patient.
The types of mastopexy, circumareolar (around the areola) or
standard mastopexy, will be determined based on each patient's
degree of ptosis (sagging) and which procedure will give the
ideal result for each individual patient. Surgery can be
combined with breast augmentation for women who would like both
enhancement and lifting, or it can be performed as an uplift
