Saline implants are placed under the chest wall muscle for better visualization of the breast with mammograms and not seeing these implants as waviness through the breasts. Dr. Parker also will discuss silicone implants as they are used in an FDA approved study in which Dr. Parker participates. He will also discuss the FDA approval of silicone implants for use with all patients and when they will appear on the market.

Appropriate choice of implant size will be discussed and determined by each patient's desires and goals along with each patient's measurements to achieve a natural result.
